The discharge of fireworks is regulated
within Atlas Township; Ordinance 13-02.
Discharge of consumer fireworks are prohibited
except on the day preceding, the day of and the
day after a national holiday. However, if the
4th of July holiday falls on a weekday, consumer
fireworks may be discharged on the weekend
preceding the 4th of July. NO FIREWORKS may be
discharged on any of the allowed dates
between the hours of 1:00AM and 8:00AM.

2016 DOG LICENSES - Genesee County
2016 Genesee County Dog Licenses may be purchased
at the Atlas Township Office, unless delinquent. If
delinquent the license must be purchased at:
Genesee Co. Treasurer's Office at 1101 Beach Street,
Flint, MI 48502 - or - Genesee County Animal Control
at G-4351 West Pasadena Ave., Flint, MI.
2016 Dog Licenses will be available for
purchase until September 29, 2016 at the Atlas
Township Office. Please contact the Treasurer's Office
for more information. Date of rabies vaccination
determines when a 2016 license may be purchased.
**** RECYCLING SURVEY ****
Weekly recycling is provided along with trash pick-up
for Atlas Township residents. Do you recycle? In an effort
to understand the why or why not, and to attempt to meet
the needs of Atlas Twp. residents we have prepared a
short on-line survey for residents related to recycling.

DROP BOX AVAILABLE
For your convenience a drop box is located in the rear
parking lot, south driveway area. Please note any payment
received through the drop box, after 5 PM is recorded received
on the next regular business day.

trash and recyclable items in Atlas Township by Emterra.

Compost/Yard Waste pickup is by PAID subscription only.
Compost/yard waste is picked up weekly, with service from
April 6th through November 30th. The cost of this service is
an additional $125.00 paid in advance to Emterra. Please

PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES
Payments for personal property taxes are payable to
and accepted by the Atlas Township Treasurer.
